Configuration – The process of installing BigFix, Symantec Endpoint Protection(SEPv14), and disabling SSH Pre-Deployment - The process of prepping the machine and additional items for deployment. This also includes any additional software requests made by the user or department. Imaging – The process of installing the proper operating system for the specific item as well as the FSM standard software. Some information cannot be entered during Initial Inventory and may need to be added later in the Onboarding procedure. These phases are: Initial Inventory – Ensuring that all information regarding the onboarded item(s) is correct and entered into the proper systems (Active Directory, BigFix) as well as taking ownership of the Onboarding ticket from the FootPrints Onboarding Assignments que. Each phase focuses on a particular process within the Onboarding procedure. The following Onboarding process is broken down into 4 phases.
